Sedum dasyphyllum 'Major' — commonly known as Corsican Stonecrop — is a charming, low-growing succulent prized for its plump, rounded, blue-green to silvery-gray leaves. Forming dense, mat-like clusters, it’s an excellent groundcover for sunny spots and rock gardens. In late spring to early summer, it produces small, star-shaped white to pale pink flowers that add a delicate touch above the foliage. 'Major' is a slightly larger and fuller form compared to standard Sedum dasyphyllum varieties.

It thrives in well-draining soil, needs very little water once established, and is highly tolerant of heat and drought. This hardy plant is perfect for containers, green roofs, and between stepping stones where minimal maintenance is desired. In colder weather, the foliage may blush with purple tones, adding seasonal interest.
