Parthenocissus quinquefolia Virginia Creeper

A deciduous, creeping vine that makes a dense ground cover. Spreads indefinitely. Leaves consist of five 2Â ½ x 6"" leaflets emerging reddish turning green at maturity. Foliage is an outstanding crimson red in the Fall. Virginia Creeper climbs aggressively with its adhesive tendrils. Can climb 30' to 50'. Birds are attracted to the blackish blue berries that follow the insignificant blooms of late Spring. Recommended for erosion control and naturalizing.
