Let's Dance Reblooming hydrangea Plant

Let's Dance Can Do is a reblooming hydrangea that grows up to 3 feet tall and wide. It thrives in zones 5-9 and is grown using sustainable practices.

One look at Let's Dance Can Do hydrangea tells you it's beautiful - but there's more to this innovative new hydrangea than that. It has the unique ability to create flower buds along the entire length of the stem instead of only at the top like other big-leaf hydrangeas. That means that even if winter does its worst and kills back a portion of the plant, there will still be flower buds to open in early summer. It's also what makes Let's Dance Can Do hardy to USDA zone 4 - not only will it survive in such a cold area, it will actually bloom there!

  • Partial Sun to Full sun
  • Mature Height : 4 Feet
  • Mature Spread : 3 Feet
  • Zone : 4 - 9

Plant Care and Attributes

  • This plant grows up to be 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide. It can tolerate partial sun to full sun, or anywhere between 4 and 8 hours of direct sunlight. If planted in full sunlight, be sure to provide extra water during hot summer days or periods of drought.
  • The hotter climate you live in, the more shade this plant can tolerate. The plant needs moist but well drained soil.
  • Make sure the ground is thawed completely before applying. You may also feed the plant a second time in late spring. Do not fertilize after late July, because it will negatively impact the plant going dormant for the winter.
  • Plant these hydrangeas at least 36 inches apart, center on center. If growing in a garden planter, choose one at least 2 feet wide and 4 feet tall.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.

We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.

Growing Zones: 4-9

Mature Height: 4 Feet
Sunlight: Partial Sun to Full Sun
Mature width: 3 Feet
Botanical Name: Hydrangea Serrata
Please note that the plant will be shipped in its pot, securely fastened with multiple layers of clear tape to prevent any shifting or damage during transit. This ensures that the plant arrives to you with minimal damage, safely and securely. We have been employing this method for shipping plants for several years, occasionally using smaller pots for added safety and convenience during transit. It's important to understand that many plants enter a dormant state during the fall and winter months, resulting in the loss of most leaves and appearing dry or lifeless. This is a natural process, and come springtime, they will begin to regrow and thrive once again. Please be aware that due to regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, there are certain plants and sizes that we are unable to ship to California. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
