Hydrangea paniculata 'Quick Fire'

Description

Hydrangea paniculata 'Quick Fire'

'Quick Fire' is a show-stealing panicle hydrangea known for blooming earlier than others—often by several weeks! This fast-growing shrub displays upright, cone-shaped clusters of white flowers that transform into deep pink and red tones as summer fades into fall.

Perfect for colder climates and tolerant of full sun, it provides dramatic color progression, excellent as a hedge, border, or standalone accent. Its woody stems hold the blooms upright without flopping, even in windy conditions.

  • ⏱ Blooms up to a month earlier than other varieties
  • White flowers age to pink, then red
  • Upright growth with strong stems
  • Thrives in full sun to part shade
  • Mature Size: 6–8 ft. tall and wide

Note: 'Quick Fire' performs best with regular watering and light pruning in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and encourage fresh growth.

FAQ's

Note
Please note that the plant will be shipped in its pot, securely fastened with multiple layers of clear tape to prevent any shifting or damage during transit. This ensures that the plant arrives to you with minimal damage, safely and securely. We have been employing this method for shipping plants for several years, occasionally using smaller pots for added safety and convenience during transit. It's important to understand that many plants enter a dormant state during the fall and winter months, resulting in the loss of most leaves and appearing dry or lifeless. This is a natural process, and come springtime, they will begin to regrow and thrive once again. Please be aware that due to regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, there are certain plants and sizes that we are unable to ship to California. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
