Cherry Ruffles Cherry Laurel is a large evergreen shrub or small tree with a dense upright domed habit. Its dark green aromatic foliage with wavy margins emerges yellow-green to bronze and smells like cherries when bruised. Upright panicle clusters of extremely fragrant creamy white flowers bloom in spring and are followed by small drupes in summer. In warmer climates, flowers best in part sun and rich moist well-drained soils. Tolerates urban conditions and poor soil.
