Willow Oak Tree
The Willow Oak Tree (Quercus phellos) is a beautiful and popular ornamental tree that is known for its graceful weeping branches and its long, willow-like leaves. It is a fast-growing tree that can reach heights of up to 120 feet, but it is more commonly found at 60-70 feet tall. The Willow Oak Tree has a rounded crown and dense foliage, making it an excellent shade tree.
Willow Oak Trees are native to the southeastern United States, but they have been planted throughout the country and in other parts of the world. They are adaptable to a variety of soil types and climates, but they prefer moist, well-drained soil. Willow Oak Trees are also drought-tolerant once established.
Willow Oak Trees are relatively low-maintenance trees. They do not require much pruning, but they can be pruned in the winter to remove dead or damaged branches and to maintain their shape. Willow Oak Trees are also resistant to most pests and diseases.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.
