Variegated Joe Pye weed grows to be 3-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide. It has an upright, clumping habit and produces a profusion of deeply serrated, lance-shaped leaves that are variegated with creamy yellow margins. The leaves turn a golden yellow color in the fall.
