Veronica spicata 'Royal Candles' (also known as Spike Speedwell) is a compact, upright perennial prized for its rich purple-blue flower spikes and tidy, clumping form. This variety is known for long-lasting blooms and exceptional garden performance. The flowers rise above dark green, lance-shaped foliage in early to mid-summer, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. Its compact size and strong stems make it ideal for front borders, containers, or mass plantings, and it pairs beautifully with grasses and other summer-blooming perennials.
