Berckmans' Golden Arborvitae is one of the most reliable and easy-to-grown evergreens, with beautiful golden spring foliage, maturing to a yellow-green that lasts all winter long. The branches have a unique flat, vertical structure that gives this tree a distinctive appearance, and it grows steadily to about 5 feet by 3 feet in 10 years, eventually maturing at 12 to 15 feet tall. Grow it as a lawn specimen or among the planting around your home. Use it as an attractive background plant in larger beds, or as a screening plant. It can also be easily clipped as a hedge. This plant is reliably hardy in zones 6 to 8, and it also grows well in sheltered spots in zone 5.
- Mature size is 3-5 ft tall/2-4 ft wide
- Hardy in zones 6-8

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.
