The Summit muscadine vine is a female variety that bears excellent quality fruit with great production. This muscadine fruit is medium to large size. The muscadine skin is edible. This vine is a consistent producer with a vigorous growth that is very cold hardy and disease resistant. Dry scar. Ripens early to mid-season and contains 20% sugar. NOTE: This is a female variety that must be planted within 50 feet of a self-fertile variety in order to produce fruit.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
