Home and Gardens For Less' New Hampshire Forsythia is a fast-growing shrub that thrives in zones 4-8. Grown naturally, it reaches a height of 6-8 feet and blooms in early spring with bright yellow flowers.
Excellent lemony yellow flowers. Attractive, finely branched, compact plant with green summer foliage that turns red-purple. Grown best in full sun, but takes light shade. Very easy to grow in almost any soil. Prune heavy after flowering, or prune out oldest wood to the ground and allow new shoots to develop from the base.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
