Camellia sasanqua 'Mine-No-Yuki' (White Doves) is absolutely splendid. It bears elegant, snow-white double blooms, up to 3 in. wide (7 cm), with orange anthers and golden filaments scattered among the petals. Opening up from round flower buds with pink tips, the blooms are produced over a fairly long period in early season (October - January in the northern hemisphere; March - June in the southern hemisphere), in such profusion (over 150 blossoms per bush!) that this splendid camellia always creates a breathtaking sight when in full bloom. The foliage of glossy, dark green leaves is evergreen and makes a wonderful backdrop for your perennial beds.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.
