Lantana 'Pink Huff'

Description

Lantana 'Pink Huff' is a tough, reliable perennial in warm climates (or an annual in cooler zones) known for its bold pink flower clusters and carefree nature. This variety was developed for improved cold-hardiness and thrives in hot, sunny conditions where other flowers may fade.

With continuous blooms from late spring until frost, ‘Pink Huff’ attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, making it an excellent choice for pollinator gardens. It forms a rounded, bushy habit with textured green foliage that’s deer-resistant and aromatic when brushed.

Key Features:

  • Bloom Time: Late spring through frost

  • Flower Color: Bright pink with slight yellow/orange accents

  • Height & Spread: 24–36 inches tall and wide

  • Sunlight: Full sun (at least 6–8 hours/day)

  • Soil: Well-drained, tolerates poor/dry soils

  • USDA Zones: 7–11 (annual in colder zones)

  • Maintenance: Very low; deadhead optional

  • Special Traits: Heat-tolerant, drought-resistant, deer-resistant, pollinator-friendly

Design Tip: Use ‘Pink Huff’ in mass plantings, along walkways, or in containers where it can spill over the edges for a cascading effect. Pairs well with salvias, ornamental grasses, or other drought-tolerant companions.

Note
Please note that the plant will be shipped in its pot, securely fastened with multiple layers of clear tape to prevent any shifting or damage during transit. This ensures that the plant arrives to you with minimal damage, safely and securely. We have been employing this method for shipping plants for several years, occasionally using smaller pots for added safety and convenience during transit. It's important to understand that many plants enter a dormant state during the fall and winter months, resulting in the loss of most leaves and appearing dry or lifeless. This is a natural process, and come springtime, they will begin to regrow and thrive once again. Please be aware that due to regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, there are certain plants and sizes that we are unable to ship to California. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
