Uncle Ghost Japanese Maple is a stunning tree with deeply cut scarlet foliage that emerges with prominent light green veins. It grows up to 10 feet tall and is hardy in zones 5-8.

Uncle Ghost is another in the Ghost series that has nice leaf coloration and form. In the spring the leaves emerge a bright pink-orange with a slight greenish veining. As summer progresses the color deepens. A nice plant to about 10 ² Like the other Ghost palmatums this one prefers morning sun/ afternoon shade.
Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
