Our Amish Paste Tomato Plant is an heirloom variety grown naturally, producing large, meaty fruits perfect for sauces and canning. Grows best in zones 4-10.
Amish Paste Tomato Plants produce sweet, juicy fruits with a full, rich flavor that doesn't cook away. The plum-shaped fruits average 8-12-ounces and have very few seeds. This heirloom tomato is thought to have originated in the late 1800's with the Amish people in Wisconsin.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
