A very fast growing arborvitae / thuja selection which is an excellent alternative to Green Giant - grows every bit as fast as Green Giant too. Was originally grown from seed provided from the Hoyt Arboretum, and was developed as a replacement solution for Leyland Cypress. Growth habit is somewhat similar to Green Giant, but tends to be more slender & columnar. Also holds good green color slightly better than Green Giant through winter months. Makes an excellent privacy screen, border, or windbreak. This variety has become one of our personal favorites here at the nursery.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
