Alachua grape shrubs prefer full sun and well-drained soil. They are drought tolerant once established, but they will produce more fruit if they are watered regularly during the growing season. Alachua grape shrubs are also relatively low-maintenance, but they do require some pruning. Prune your shrub in the late winter or early spring to remove any dead or diseased wood, and to train the shrub to grow on a trellis or other support structure.
Alachua grapes are a versatile fruit that can be enjoyed fresh, made into juice or jelly, or used in winemaking. They are also a good source of vitamins and minerals.

Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.
