Tomato Plant 'Fantastic'

The Fantastico tomato plant is known for its small, sweet, grape-shaped tomatoes. The tomatoes are typically about 1/2 ounce each and have a deep red color. They have a sweet, tangy flavor and are a good choice for snacking or salads.

The Fantastico tomato plant is a relatively easy tomato plant to grow. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It is a heavy feeder, so it should be fertilized regularly. The plant is also susceptible to a few diseases, such as verticillium wilt and fusarium wilt, so it is important to take steps to prevent these diseases.

With proper care, the Fantastico tomato plant can produce a large harvest of tomatoes. The tomatoes can be eaten fresh, cooked, or canned.

Here are some tips for growing the Fantastico tomato plant:

  • Start the seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost date.
  • Transplant the seedlings outdoors after the last frost date.
  • Plant the tomatoes in full sun.
  • Provide the plants with well-drained soil.
  • Fertilize the plants regularly with a balanced fertilizer.
  • Water the plants regularly, especially during hot, dry weather.
  • Stake or cage the plants to prevent them from flopping over.
  • Harvest the tomatoes when they are ripe.

With proper care, the Fantastico tomato plant will produce a bountiful harvest of delicious tomatoes.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.

We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.

This ensures that the plant arrives to you with minimal damage, safely and securely. We have been employing this method for shipping plants for several years, occasionally using smaller pots for added safety and convenience during transit. It's important to understand that many plants enter a dormant state during the fall and winter months, resulting in the loss of most leaves and appearing dry or lifeless. This is a natural process, and come springtime, they will begin to regrow and thrive once again. Please be aware that due to regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, there are certain plants and sizes that we are unable to ship to California. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
