Crocus Mixed Plant

Description

1 gallon Crocus Mixed - grown in zones 3-8, these super large flowering crocuses are the first real sign of spring. A feast of color in early spring!

A (1 gallon) crocus mixed is a pot that contains a variety of crocus bulbs. Crocuses are small, spring-blooming flowers that are one of the first signs of spring. They come in a variety of colors, including purple, yellow, blue, and white. Crocuses are relatively easy to care for and can be grown in a variety of locations, including gardens, containers, and rock gardens.

A (1 gallon) crocus mixed typically contains 8-10 bulbs. The bulbs are usually planted in the fall and will bloom in the spring. Crocuses prefer full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. They are also deer resistant and attract pollinators.

To care for a (1 gallon) crocus mixed, water the plants regularly, especially during the first few weeks after planting. Fertilize the plants with a balanced fertilizer in the spring. After the flowers have bloomed, allow the foliage to die back naturally. Crocus bulbs are winter hardy in most climates, so they can be left in the ground year-round.

Here are some tips for planting and caring for a (1 gallon) crocus mixed:

  • Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
  • Plant the bulbs in the fall, 3-4 inches deep.
  • Water the plants regularly, especially during the first few weeks after planting.
  • Fertilize the plants with a balanced fertilizer in the spring.
  • Allow the foliage to die back naturally after the flowers have bloomed.
  • Crocus bulbs are winter hardy in most climates, so they can be left in the ground year-round.

Enjoy your beautiful crocus blooms in the spring!

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.

We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.

Note
Please note that the plant will be shipped in its pot, securely fastened with multiple layers of clear tape to prevent any shifting or damage during transit. This ensures that the plant arrives to you with minimal damage, safely and securely. We have been employing this method for shipping plants for several years, occasionally using smaller pots for added safety and convenience during transit. It's important to understand that many plants enter a dormant state during the fall and winter months, resulting in the loss of most leaves and appearing dry or lifeless. This is a natural process, and come springtime, they will begin to regrow and thrive once again. Please be aware that due to regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, there are certain plants and sizes that we are unable to ship to California. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
