Cherry Dazzle® Crape Myrtle – Cherry-Red Compact Shrub, Bold Foliage (Lagerstroemia)
Description

Cherry Dazzle Crape Myrtle Shrub (Lagerstroemia indica 'Cherry Dazzle')

'Cherry Dazzle' is a compact dwarf Crape Myrtle bursting with vivid cherry-red blooms from summer into fall. Its smaller size makes it perfect for tight garden spaces, containers, borders, or mass plantings where bold color is desired.

This low-maintenance variety also offers deep green foliage that transforms to rich red and burgundy hues in fall. It thrives in full sun and is drought-tolerant once established. An excellent choice for Southern landscapes and small-space gardens.

  • Compact size with cherry-red flowers
  • Beautiful fall foliage in red tones
  • Grows up to 3–5 ft. tall and wide
  • ☀️ Loves full sun and heat
  • Attracts pollinators like bees and butterflies
  • Low water needs after establishment

Note: Prune lightly in late winter for shape and to promote better blooming. Hardy in USDA Zones 6–9.

FAQ's

Note
Please note that the plant will be shipped in its pot, securely fastened with multiple layers of clear tape to prevent any shifting or damage during transit. This ensures that the plant arrives to you with minimal damage, safely and securely. We have been employing this method for shipping plants for several years, occasionally using smaller pots for added safety and convenience during transit. It's important to understand that many plants enter a dormant state during the fall and winter months, resulting in the loss of most leaves and appearing dry or lifeless. This is a natural process, and come springtime, they will begin to regrow and thrive once again. Please be aware that due to regulations set by the Department of Agriculture, there are certain plants and sizes that we are unable to ship to California. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
