Hibiscus 'Berry Awesome' (Rose Mallow) is a compact, bushy deciduous shrub noted for its extra large, lavender pink flowers, up to 8 in. across (20 cm), adorned with a brilliant red eye. Blooming continuously from mid to late summer, each flower lasts about one day and stands out against the deep midnight green foliage of maple-like leaves. The striking blossoms are produced from the top to the bottom of the plant, rather than just at the top like some other cultivars. Perfect backdrop or centerpiece for a sunny border. Great for containers too.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
